Designing Interventions: UK and NL

I’m currently leading the study “Co-creating Interventions”, aimed at understanding what interventions can be designed to help citizens to more effectively navigate online political campaigns. Through collaborative workshops with experts and citizens, we explore ways to strengthen citizens’ online political literacy and design practically feasible, scientifically grounded interventions. Data has already been collected in the Netherlands in Oct 2025 – Feb 2026, with additional data collection in the UK planned for May 2026. These insights will inform the development and testing of interventions (Phase 4-5, see Figure). This project is part of bigger ERC-funded project “Hunting for Voters”.
